Upgrade Guide ​

Before proceeding with the update, it is crucial to backup your database and server files.

  1. Download the Latest Version:

    • Obtain the latest version of ReXCart from the official source.

  2. Backup Your Data:

    • Create a backup of your database to prevent any data loss during the update.
    • Backup your server files to ensure you can revert to the previous version if needed.

  3. Extract the New Downloaded File:

    • Unzip the downloaded ReXCart package to reveal the updated files.

  4. Access ReXCart Directory:

    • Open your existing ReXCart installation directory.

  5. Upload and Replace Files:

    • Upload and replace all files from the new version into your ReXCart directory.
    • Note: Do not replace the .env file, as it contains your specific configuration settings.

  6. Verify and Test:

    • Once the files are updated, access your store and verify that everything is functioning correctly.
    • Test essential features to ensure compatibility with the new version.

By following these steps, you can successfully update ReXCart to the latest version while minimizing the risk of data loss or disruptions to your online store.
